We make a our cooling band narrow and so it’s just the right size and lightweight, yet effective. We turn and hide all of our seams and finish our tie ends at an attractive angle for a quality look.

Our cooling crystals evolve into a gel when immersed in water. Within minutes your Neckbandoo will completely dry to the touch, yet the active gel will remain hydrated and cool the wearer, due to evaporation, for several days before slowly returning to its original crystal state. No refrigeration is necessary and all of our high quality Blubandoos products are reusable and hand-washable time and again.

Discovered BluBandoo 15 years ago on my way up to Zion National Park. Given away loads to friends over the years as gifts. Slightly disappointed in the choice of patterns on them available as always loved them as quirky and different. Great product keep on with them! Thanks for keeping my brains cool for years I wear one at work all summer as well as when riding my motorcycle in the heat! Cheers. I’d love to be a distributor in the UK if you decide to have one!

Very good at taking the heat off your neck and shoulders. I bought two and keep one on and one in the fridge, rotating as needed. They stay cool for about 3-4 hours working in a hot shop. I’ve had an earlier version for many years and it still works fine.

I like the brim of the hat. The cooling crystals help a little bit, but not to the degree implied. Some 30 minutes or so after putting on, the cooling effect diminishes to nothing. The previous version I have has 2 bands of crystals opposed to one in new version, plus a neck shade no longer present. The material very light weight, which helps maintain coolness. The neck collars have more crystals and last a bit longer, but have to be tied on rather than velcroed (as another brand I have does), which is better. The other brand has a pocket for ice cubes which supplies serious coolness, but again, only for 1/2 hour or so. Manufacturer states that humidity is a factor. Not humid in N. Texas, just hot.
