I got this as a gift and within a few weeks the hard plastic that makes up the bill broke. I have tried to get a response for a replacement but a this is a ghostly place for returns, no response at all. Horrible hat! Why plastic in the bill? What a horrible choice.

The cooling technology is great. I have the visor and this Cap Bandoo. The visor is highly recommended. I wanted to love the cap too, but the bill of the cap is made of some sort of plastic that breaks in there leaving shards of broken plastic to make up the bill, absolute fail. With the foam that makes up the visor available why use a hard breakable plastic? I wish the Cap Bandoo came with the type of bill used on the visor, that would be perfection and comfortable.

I still have a bluebandoo white cap that I purchased in 1995. It worked absolutely fantastic for 20 years. I wanted a new one for myself and one for a friend to use when playing golf. I showed up for my golf game and we put the capbandoos to the test. The caps are a huge disappointment. The amount of gel and crystals in the hats is so scant that it doesn't stay cool more than an hour. My old cap used to swell up some when wet and I would have to adjust the fit. In these caps there wasn't enough cooling gel. These are not good for keeping someone cool and in my opinion you should either improve the quality (add some gel and crystals) or stop selling them altogether. David C.

My previous (now very old and tattered) BluBandoo has crystals that when saturated cover the entire forehead and sides. And it has ventilation throughout the entire hat. Whereas this new hat is solid on top (not ventilated), and the saturation is only at the temples. I'm disappointed in the new design.
